Whether you're popping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a leisurely brunch, the experience feels warm, welcoming, and refreshingly unpretentious.

One of the first things you’ll notice is the inviting outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying a drink on a sunny day while watching the rhythm of the street. For something a little different, the Tuna and Onion Crepe brings a savory twist that’s both unique and satisfying. It’s one of those dishes that surprises you in the best way. Pair any of these with a freshly brewed Cappuccino or a smooth Caramel Latte, and you’ve got a combination that’s hard to beat. The coffee here is clearly made with care, and it shows in every sip.

What really stands out, though, is the overall experience. The service is friendly without being overbearing, and there’s a genuine sense that this cafe values its customers. Reviews often highlight the relaxed pace and consistent quality, which makes it easy to return again and again.

Cosy Coffee isn’t just another cafe on the map-it’s a place where good food, great coffee, and a welcoming environment come together effortlessly.

“ We hadn't been into Tamworth Centre for a long while, largely due to increasing numbers of vacant units, bigger name retailers having moved out, leaving a proliference of Charity shops, mobile phone stores, card retailers, and parking charges approaching eye-watering levels. It was, therefore, with some trepidation as to what we were going to do after the first half hour, as our visit to Ankerside Shopping Centre had been a depressing affair - half of the units lay vacant and no decent eating places remained open. We reached the point of ‘Lunch’ and where to have it: leaving Ankerside, we could see that beyond the building site ahead of us, life still existed in a former Dorothy Perkins Store that had (via a brief transition to a short lived and obscure gadget shop) now become a ‘Cosy Café.’ Uncertain, we gave it the benefit of the doubt (particularly since one of us suffers from limited mobility and at 90 years of age, struggles with longer distances on a tri-walker. We were not disappointed: at first glance, the environment appears surreal (wall-mounted typewriters, books and even Police Force Paraphernalia greet you), but the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Bench-style seats proved comfortable, and service was relatively prompt, given a busy lunchtime – we waited no longer tan 15 minutes from ordering to service. The food itself was exemplary: from the menu, we choose Crepe and Omelette options, both of of which provided a tasty and enjoyable portion of a generous size – just as well we opted for a delicious Side Salad option, as neither wanted to walk away feeling full to the point of sleepiness. Overall, a great experience – and a far flung departure from previous site occupiers of the same 1960s Concrete Monolith whom in their own time would simply glare at you before issuing a similarly unconvincing , insincere monologue of ‘Next please!’ A few such ‘Dinosaurs’ still remain, but they do so as increasingly marginalized shops, the likes of which we will hopefully not see remain in business for much longer. Based upon childhood experiences, I have not given these same operations custom in 40 years, so was probably somewhat ‘ahead of the curve’ in appreciating Customer Service and Consumer Rights. Well done guys – if you can ‘spin a silk purse from a sow’s ear’ then you deserve to enjoy the best success going forward. Just one word of recommendation for change: my elderly Mum is 90 years old and cannot climb stairs as she relies upon a tricycle walker for balance and mobility: is there any chance that you could look to provide a downstairs toilet facility please going forward? ”

“ The staff are fantastic, food is great, coffee great, prices great....popped in on off chance, with my dog...what a lovely welcome, I understand not all cafés want dogs inside. Loved how the staff fussed Dunley...they even gave him a sausage!!! ”

“ I had coffee and a lunch date here yesterday afternoon. It was my first time at Cosy, despite having passed it numerous times beforehand. It's a pleasant little place with a fun and quirky atmosphere, especially the upstairs. Given my first impression I think I'll bring my son here one weekend. ”
